Actor, Tony Umez Pissed At His Network Provider Over Incessant Plan Migration
Veteran Nollywood actor, producer and director Tony Umez have lashed out at his network provider, Airtel Nigeria over incessant migration from one plan to another.
The actor took to his verified Instagram page to vent out his anger at Airtel in a video.
He said airtel oftentimes migrates its network plan without his consent. and when he complains they go with the usual apology, we are sorry.
Airtel’s recent unethical action of migrating his smart connect plan that has lots of bonuses to another plan without his consent infuriated him.
Angered by Airtel’s action, Tony said he called customer care to lay a complaint but the operator hung up on him but later answered him and then apologised, as they often do.
Responding to Tony’s complaint, the customer care attendant said that there was a need to upgrade his plan, the actor interjected by asking upgrade me without my consent?
However, Tony added saying he has been moved back to his previous plan but came with the price of losing some bonuses which has pissed him so much.
His words read: “I am pissed and I am angry at my network provider, Airtel. They do this on a regular basis, they will move me from a plan to another without notifying me.
“Just recently they move me from my smart connect plan to another plan, when I laid complaint 4 days ago the operator cut the phone on me and after the usual apology, I am sorry they had to upgrade me, upgrade me without my consent, without notifying me.
“I had my bonuses airtel to airtel ten thousand naira, airtel to other networks about thirteen thousand naira and my data plan.
“They do this on a regular, they have taken back to that plan but have wiped out about twenty-two thousand naira.
