AY, Zubby Michael and May Yul Edochie mourn Davido, Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi

The painful passing away of Davido, Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi has sent shock waves across the country and beyond.

Ifeanyi drowned in a pool in his father’s Banana Island house on Monday while Davido and Chioma Rowland were away from the house.

Comedian, actor, radio, writer, producer, and film director,  Ayodeji Richard Makun also known by his stage name A.Y, Nollywood actor Zubby Michael and wife of famous Nollywood actor May Yul Edochie has mourned Ifeanyi’s passing away.

Zubby Michael on his verified Instagram page shared a picture of the late Ifeanyi and captioned ‘alumelu’.

A.Y in a lengthy post accompanied by a picture of two hands together symbolizing praying on his verified Instagram page questioned why the Almighty God gives us a blessing and allowed the devil to take it so quickly.

He also stated that no parents desire to outlive their children, and it isn’t fair on the few good people that stretch their helping hands to others.

His words read:”Dear Lord, we will never understand why you would give us a blessing and allowed the devil to take it so quickly. No parents wants to outlive their children, and it’s really not fair on the few good people who do a lot to help others keep their own children alive, by giving them hopes for a better tomorrow.

“This loss affects so many people. How do we even encourage them to move on? How can we ever trust caregivers with our children when we remember the painful circumstances surrounding that innocent child’s death? We all want to ask for forgiveness and continue to glorify you, even in our pain. You sincerely need to show Yourself to the parents and protect them from bitterness.

‘Give them a new purpose for living and a way to honour their child’s life. Give them the courage to trust you, to hope again, and to love again. Protect them from living in fear and paranoia. Judging by the things you have blessed us with, we know you are good, and you do good. Protect us from evil people as we give you this tragedy to redeem in Jesus name. Amen!

May Yul Edochie prays that God should make us invisible to helpers that will cause us excruciating but avoidable pain due to negligence, and mindlessness.

She reckons that the loss of a child could be overwhelming and ask the Lord to grant Davido and  Chioma the strength to overcome their grief.

Earlier, enomaomoruyi news reported that Davido’s domestic staff has been picked up by Lagos police for questioning and investigation into the passing away of Ifeanyi.
