Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s featured for Arsenal on December 6, and he was stripped of the captaincy later that month after a disciplinary issue; forward was left out of the Gunners’ training camp in Dubai this month; FC Barcelona not expected to have option to make deal permanent.

FC Barcelona has reached advanced negotiations with Arsenal over a possible loan deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.


FC Barcelona is closing in on Pierre-Emerick aubameyang loan deal from Arsenal without any option of a permanent stay.


Both clubs have not agreed on the deal yet, but there is increased confidence it can be completed before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

If completed the deal will see Aubameyang move to Spain to join the Catalans at the Nou camp till the end of the season.


FC Barcelona would not be able to make Aubameyang’s move permanent, and talks about how much of the forward’s salaries they would cover are still ongoing.


Juventus were also interested in signing Aubameyang, but their move was contingent on Atletico Madrid agreeing to shorten Alvaro Morata’s loan period. Morata will remain at Juventus for the time being.



After stripping Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of his captaincy in December due to a disciplinary issue, Arsenal is willing to let him leave.


The 32-year-old has not played for the club since December 6 and was left out of their squad for their warm-weather training camp in Dubai this week.
