Governors from the South East in a closed-door meeting in Enugu

Enugu State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is hosting all other Governors from the South East region in a closed-door meeting at the Enugu Government House.

Although the major topic of discussion was unclear at the time this report was filed, sources suggest it may have something to do with the recent security problem plaguing the region.

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, the host Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, and Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, who is also the chairman of the Southeast Governors’ Forum, were there.

The governors of Anambra and Imo states, Professor Charles Soludo and Senator Hope Uzodinma, are also there.

They are both represented by their deputies  Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezi and Professor Placid Njoku, respectively.
