Also, how are you going to show that you deserve this raise, that your work is directly responsible for the company’s success in any way?.

 

Can you give examples of projects or large clients? Are you creating a personal brand in the industry? Before you talk to the boss, print out the emails and texts, write down talking points, and practice your pitch.

4)ASK AT THE RIGHT TIME

 

I will strongly advise you to always manage your timing when asking for a raise.

 

Remember, your boss is human, too. As a result, attempt to empathize with them when it’s the appropriate time to contact them about a raise. You don’t want to catch someone on a bad day or when their stress levels are sky-high.

 

Get a sense of it. If you’ve been doing well and your employer has recently expressed satisfaction with your work, this is an excellent moment to ask!
