Creme de la creme in politics and business all turned up to felicitate award-winning fashion designer madam Sisi Abba Folawiyo as she clocks 80.

As the mother and grandmother celebrate reaching the 80th rung of the age ladder, family and friends have expressed hope that her proclivity for giving and sharing love will continue, and that her wisdom gained through years of experience will be enriching.

Sisi Abba Folawiyo, an award-winning fashion designer and Nigerian socialite, turned 80 on Friday, July 22.

As expected, the special occasion was celebrated with a grand yet cosy party to commemorate the special age.

Social media videos captured the mood at the party, which was attended by notable figures and dignitaries.

In one video, the celebrant can be seen sitting alongside the governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who were both presents to celebrate with her.
